For the Wanderer

Thou who makest intercession,
Give to us to share
In that holy intercession;
Deepen prayer.

Some have chosen dust and ashes,
Fruit of poison tree;
Let them have nor peace nor pleasure,
Wanting Thee.

Let Thy fiery Law arrest them;
Let Thy love constrain,
Till they turn, repentant, humbly,
Home again.

Keep Thine own alert, courageous;
Strengthen them to stand
Till Thou comest, or we meet them,
In Thy land.

Thank you, Leah, for posting this. I've never read it before. I pray along these lines for my unsaved children--that they won't be content with the world, and its attractions would lose their appeal. These are very good thoughts, thank you.

That is beautiful! Such powerful words. Leah, I am so glad to meet you! Thanks to dear sister Brenda, who has become a mainstay for my daily reading.
I and my husband of 21 years go "out" into the public square as well. I enjoyed reading about you and your family's 'outings' to hold signs, hand out tracts, and the preaching. It is a rare jewel to find others who do the same.
I have a blessed family (brother) in Montana who live (farm-life) as you and your family do. Nieces your age (13, 20, 22, 24) whose practices, lifestyle, and home hobbies make them such that would be kindred to you I am sure. I may send your blog address to them!

May our Savior of Love and Grace draw you near to hear Him this beautiful day.

I am very happy to meet you as well Auntie eM! It is very exciting to meet believers who are going into the highways and byways to "compel them to come in". I look forward to visiting your blog and would love to have your nieces "stop by"!

In the love that comes from Christ,
Leah
